This is my first blog so bare with me. I would like to point out a few things to anyone who actually reads this.
First, I am not in the media. Everything here needs to be considered my thoughts and ideas alone, even if I claim one thing or another, this does not mean it is true.
Second, I fully intend to speak my mind. And I am warning anyone who is easlily offended that you will probably not like some of the things I have to say, but frankly I do not care
And finally, because of time constraints, I will probably not respond to comments on my blog unless they are really intriguing. I will read all comments if I can, but expect my comments to be slim to none. Now on with the show.
This blog is aimed at the ill equiped media personalities. Particularly the news. Frankly I am sick and tired of hearing the so called "news casters" opinion of the events of the news. I watch the news to get the facts of what is going on and I do not give a flying fuck what any news caster has to say about it. We have things like the O'riely factor (whom I like actually just not as a news source), MSNBC's, worse worser (WTF worser???) and worst, and FOX..... well I don't think anyone really takes FOX News seriously.... I mean come on, its FOX!!
These assholes report anything and everything under the sun and always have additional comments that reflect one way or another what they think. The big problem with this is that some people think, "it is the news, I must think that way too!!" You would be surprised on the number of people who let the media think for them, and frankly it crap.
I was watching the MSNBC today and I was particulary pissed off on how they treated McCain on what he was saying about the surge starting in 2006. This is what happens when people who are not trained in ANY WAY on military tactics and strategys give opinions on shit they know nothing about. Yes he used the word "surge" as if it were actually part of the strategy. BUT, there was a reason we had the surge, and that is because our boys on the ground, (including myself since march of 2006) tried a few things and they worked. I have no trouble believing McCain when he saud the idea of "The Surge" came long before the president actually issued the order for more troops, in fact I can promise you that the idea was formed MONTHS before hand. In military process everything starts with planning and risk assessment. So the initial beginning of the surge started when the idea first formed in someones head. Who that was I do not know, but that was the beginning.
Lets move on....
Another interesting tidbit I would like to address is the media campaigning for one candidate or another. WHAT THE FUCK! Why are you doing this, many many people including myself do not give a shit about what the media thinks of each candidate. Report what they are doing, report what the percieved effects of what they are doing are, and then close your fucking mouths. I don't need an expert that you selected to slander Obama or McCain to come on your crappy excuse for a news program and tell the world their oppinionated idea of what the facts should be. Have a little pride in your work people. Stop trying to get yourself on tv and be more like BBC, which in my honest opinion, is the last decent news source we have today. You guys make a fucking joke out of your jobs, and you exploit freedom of press to your own ends. I want news not a blog on TV. This is a Blog, this is where your oppinions should be, not on my television set making my country lose brain cells and numbers on their IQ because what you think you have to say is important.
So please, for the love of god SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!
